Science education and outreach have always been an important mission of the Center of Astronomy and Gravitation. With your continued support, our popular science lecture series has now entered its fifth year.
The 2026 Fall Education & Public Outreach Talk is about to begin. In this event, we will explore astronomy from both a macroscopic perspective and a unique viewpoint, connecting academic astronomy with everyday astronomy.

因果律，物理，黑洞：自由意志何在？

物理定律告訴我們：原因一定在結果之前，任何訊息都不能比光快。只要知道現在，原則上就能算出未來 –– 那麼，我們的「選擇」還是自己的嗎？量子力學帶來了隨機性，但被骰子決定也不等於自由。黑洞是物理定律最極端的實驗室：在那裡時間會變慢，連光都逃不出來，而霍金發現黑洞會蒸發，似乎讓資訊憑空消失，挑戰了因果律本身。本演講將從《星際效應》、黑洞照片談到最新的理論進展，並介紹台灣主導的 BURSTT 電波望遠鏡如何用快速電波爆檢驗這些想法，和大家一起思考：在物理的世界裡，自由意志何在？
